For five years, World Vision, a Christian relief, development, and advocacy non-profit organization, has hosted the World Vision Run to promote a healthy lifestyle, while raising funds to secure a better future for thousands of Filipino children.
World Vision's presence in the Philippines spans for nearly 60 years tackling education, livelihoods, health and nutrition, and disaster response. To date, the organization's holistic approach to development has helped uplift the lives of over 16 million Filipinos in 33 provinces and 44 cities.
The annual World Vision Run is an opportunity for running enthusiasts to back children's causes, and we are grateful for the support of the 32 MicroSourcing employees who contributed to the event's success. MicroMissions and MS Sports Club came together and paid half the registration fees for 32 runners.
This year's World Vision Run is part of a global campaign against hunger and malnutrition. Specifically, the proceeds from the fun run will be used to tackle chronic malnutrition among hundreds of Filipino children, from infancy to toddlerhood stage, and give them a healthy start to life. The event also gave the runners from MicroSourcing a chance to gather and share their enthusiasm for the sport and the advocacy.
We can help you understand the possibilities. Reach out to us today.
