MicroSourcing Donates P141,500 for Education

MicroSourcing has donated P141,500 to A Better Chance Foundation and Payatas Orione Foundation for the Back-to-School program which gives promising scholars an opportunity to complete their studies and ultimately pursue their dreams.

MicroSourcing is sponsoring elementary and college scholars

A Better Chance Foundation and Payatas Orione Foundation are both long-standing partners of MicroMissions in education since 2014. MicroSourcing is sponsoring eight elementary and eight college scholars. The 9th Grade elementary scholars are studying at Siena College in Taytay, Rizal. The 2nd and 3rd year scholars are studying business courses at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Maria Fe Diaca, a MicroSourcing scholar from Payatas Orione Foundation, recently graduated from college and now prepares to join Batch 5 of the Careers Program, an impact sourcing initiative that creates long-term BPO employment opportunities to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is also a lively volunteer at MicroSourcing’s outreach activities in her community and we would like to congratulate her for a job well done. After graduation, it is our hope that the scholars will flow into the Careers Program with the end goal of securing long-term employment opportunities.

"MicroSourcing has been helping our scholarship program for the last three years with their 'Back to School' and 'Playing Santa' projects every June and December and they have recently granted scholarships to eight deserving college students. Thank you very much for your generosity and tireless support. We hope to see you all again in December." - Shiela Bulacito-Mira, Program Management Assistant
