170,000 square meters - thatís the total leasable space that ETON Properties Philippines currently has, and knowing that there is an increasing demand for BPO office space, the firm is even planning on expanding to accommodate the growing business process outsourcing (BPO) sector. Its current properties at Eton Cyberpod Corinthians and the two new buildings at Eton Centris cover almost 70,000sqm or seven hectares.
Danilo Ignacio, Etonís President, said that the second BPO building at Eton Centris has started its leasing contracts early this year, while the other two buildings will be launched in 2012. These buildings are made for companies that want to take advantage of the labor pool in the northern part of the Metro. He added that the company is focusing more on BPO buildings and is developing the upcoming sites in accordance to the standards of offshore outsourcing companies.
With the high demand for office space, Ignacio said the two BPO buildings may be available for leasing even if the construction is not yet finished. Moreover, he said that if all goes well, they might opt to add another BPO building instead of a residential one in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
