BPO Vendors to Focus on Innovation, Process Improvement

This year, business process outsourcing (BPO) vendors will concentrate on innovative approaches in operations and marketing, as well as process improvement. According to ValueNotes, a research institute, outsourcing vendors are focusing on innovation in order to boost productivity and reach their target customers.

It is expected that this year, the industry will see an increase in IT spending, emergence of Asia as a major outsourcing destination, large KPOs, multi-service, and shift from process innovation to marketing innovation. Also, large captives will fade away, but according to the research, some may downsize but will still retain operations.
