Cebu Property Ventures Development Corp. (CPVDC) said it would fast track the development of an IT Park in the city to accommodate more BPO operations.
CPVDC President Francis Monera said the company has earmarked P200 million for the initial stage of the project, which aims to further develop the Asiatown IT Park that currently houses 60 call centers that employ 13,000 people. The new development initially called the enclave, is located at the far corner of the 24-hectare facility.
Monera said CPVDC also plans at least three major vertical developments in Asiatown for 2010 when two BPO buildings and one residential-hotel building will be constructed.
