Global service models need to reflect when clients are active—not only where the business is headquartered. Envestnet used the time-zone difference to extend the availability of its Revenue Manager support operation without relying entirely on hard-to-fill U.S. off-hours positions.
Build confidence before scale
Envestnet was able to begin with a small team and expand when the experience justified it. Maintaining control over candidate selection and interviewing helped the company build confidence in each appointment before widening the operation.
Integrate capability, not just capacity
The Manila employees were trained directly by Envestnet in the same product knowledge, standards and working practices used onshore. Shared meetings and close collaboration helped the two locations operate as one team rather than as separate delivery groups.
