MicroSourcing is a company owned by Salmat, the leading provider of customer engagement and marketing solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

MicroSourcing was founded by the Kooijman family who started their first operations in the Philippines in 2004. Two years later, they transformed this business into MicroSourcing and started offering managed operations services. MicroSourcing grew rapidly from 30 employees to more than 2,000 by the end of 2013.

In February 2014, the Kooijman family sold 50% of MicroSourcing to Salmat, the leading provider of customer engagement and marketing solutions in Australia and New Zealand. This strategic partnership gives MicroSourcing a strong partner with the resources, expertise, and market reach needed for us to be able to grow our company to the next level.

During the third quarter of 2016, Salmat has completed the acquisition of MicroSourcing. MicroSourcing will retain its own brand and go-to-market strategies, and will continue to collaborate with Salmat to maximize growth opportunities. Through this partnership, MicroSourcing will also be able to further accelerate its growth strategy especially in the Australian market.
