In the month of February, MicroSourcing celebrated Valentine's Day with our long-standing non-profit organization and social enterprise partners. Love-A-Fair fundraiser welcomed Life Project for Youth (LP4Y), Virlanie Foundation, Young Focus, Center for Art, New Ventures & Sustainable Development (CANVAS), Bayani Brew, Plush and Play, and Karabella Ice Cream & Milk to MicroSourcing sites. This was a good occasion to support Filipino livelihood programs and homegrown social enterprises. It was also a valuable opportunity to engage MicroSourcing employees in socially conscious purchasing.
Apart from the organizations that joined the Valentine's Day fundraiser, MicroMissions had pink cotton candy on sale as well as jars full of lollipops and chocolate for the guessing game. We are thankful to the Dance and Music Club who launched 'Serenade for a Cause' in support of our Valentine's Day fundraiser. The Club generously donated Php1,525 to MicroMissions. MicroMissions is grateful for the support we received from all employees. Together, we managed to raise P19,880 to support impoverished rural and urban communities in the Philippines. MicroSourcing will generously match this amount for donation to our chosen non-profit organization beneficiary for the Valentine's Day fundraiser.
MicroMissions would like to thank the following volunteers who helped to facilitate the Valentine's Day fundraiser in their respective MicroSourcing sites:
Karen Cayamanda, Finella Panlilio, Jan Cyrill Dimaranan, Joannah Kris Aguas, Jackelyn Banzon, Jerolyn Batinga, and Celso Trinidad Jr.
Volunteerism is the backbone of MicroMissions and we are appreciative of the constant support we receive from employee volunteers.
We can help you understand the possibilities. Reach out to us today.
