Alongside the Halloween event, MS Volunteers Club - MOA sponsored a MicroBazaar to raise funds for its outreach activities. Budding entrepreneurs from Life Project for Youth (LP4Y), one of MicroSourcing’s non-profit partner organizations, set up a "Healthy Corner" and sold fruit shakes, cupcakes, and homemade jams. Employees were all smiles after getting generous servings of fresh banana, mango, papaya and watermelon shakes prepared by the young entrepreneurs.
Bazaar visitors enjoyed pasta meals, brownies, and other desserts from "Sweet Madness", a thriving food business started by former MS employee Glenda Rae Arguinoso. Events management and photo booth supplier Purple Bunny Events also brought along novelty products and party-related items.
Security Bank was also on hand to offer their best-in-class credit cards and latest investment products. Employees eagerly filled out application forms, hoping to boost their credit lines in time for the coming holiday season.
MicroMissions and MicroClubs MOA wish to express their gratitude to everyone who visited MicroBazaar. We look forward to working again with the employees and our partner groups in worthy endeavors in the future.
