MicroSourcing Careers Graduates Pay it Forward

MicroSourcing Careers Program Graduates Donate to Ayala Foundation

"I just want to help and give back," shared Karen Banday about her donation to Ayala Foundation.

Graduates of MicroSourcing's Careers Program turned over their hard-earned donations to Ayala Foundation's Careers for Street Youth (CSY) last November 20 at BPI Building, Makati.

A pay-it-forward fundraiser of the Careers Program Graduates Club, employed youth raised P8,822.50 from their own resources and campaigns for recycling and food sales. They launched Scrap for Purpose to collect recyclables to sell to junk shops. Among the youth, Karen Banday made cake pops and sold them for a small profit in order to contribute.

"MicroSourcing had such a big impact on me. It's different when you're confident about yourself; I wish more people would feel that way," said Karen when asked about her efforts.

The Graduates Club turned over their donations directly to Luli Heras-de Leon, President of Ayala Foundation, and Ian Fernandez and John Quesada, program managers of CSY. "Our sincerest thanks for your generous donation to Ayala Foundation. We are so proud of what you have accomplished and are so sure that you will even do better," said Luli.

MicroSourcing is proud of its program graduates and extremely grateful for their generosity.
