MicroMissions hosted a Career Day for FEU Institute of Technology program graduates last November 26 at 1880 Bldg., Eastwood. Career Day is designed to provide undergraduates a background of the outsourcing sector and prepare them for job hunting.
Career Day participants are from FEU Institute of Technology's social initiative, iTAMKalinangan, which aims to extend computer skills training to underprivileged youth and mothers in communities close to the school. Participants have finished short courses like Basic Computer Literacy, Computer Hardware Servicing, PC Troubleshooting, and Consumer Electronics.
MicroSourcing's Talent Acquisition team spent an afternoon with the participants to share tips and answer questions on job interviews.
"Today, I gained the motivation to strive more, to trust myself and my capacity to achieve my dreams," a participant summarized at the close of Career Day.
MicroSourcing partnered with FEU Institute of Technology for recruitment and inclusive employment initiatives.
