From casual MicroRun to big race - MicroSourcing employees joined World Vision's Run for Children to help raise funds for students vying for scholarships in the organization's adopted communities. A total of 22 MS runners ran for the 5K and 10K categories on June 22 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Run for Children 2014 made World Vision history with a turnout of 5,400 participants; it was among the organization’s biggest events. The annual run raised support for education scholarships of 8,000 sponsored children.
Local celebrities Christian Bautista, Marc Nelson, and Jasmine Curtis, as well as known brands Toby's, Runnr, Brooks, Timex, and other sponsors and media partners were featured at the event.
MicroSourcing runners are active participants of MicroRun, a series of casual runs organized by the company's Sports Club. MicroRun seeks to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie in the MicroSourcing space. The team conducts activities two Saturdays a month often at UP Diliman, Quezon City.
