"We invite you to create a more supportive, inclusive work environment for vulnerable and at-risk youth," said Maria Lourdes Heras-de Leon, President of Ayala Foundation.
An advocate of youth empowerment and equal opportunities, Ayala Foundation launched their Work Readiness Training Program last May 8 at the Ayala Museum, Makati City. MicroSourcing supports the program for its aligned objective of preparing youth for employment.
In the program launch, Ayala Foundation recognized MicroSourcing Careers Program graduates for their successful transition to regular employment. MicroSourcing employees Marion Navarrette, Rosalie Malagueno, Maureen Rubillos, Juliet Cariquitan, Aileen Galvero, and Lesie Jane Fabre from Operations and Charity Fernandez from HR introduced themselves and their new jobs to an audience of directors, managers, and media representatives.
A fellow program graduate, Junalyn Flores, now working in Citibank, thanked program contributors, "We were told that we are here because of our strength. I say I am here because of the program, its investors, partners, and supporters. They helped me discover my higher potential, more of who I really am. I hope they help more people overcome poverty."
Ayala Foundation's Work Readiness Training will run from May - June 2014. The program provides a three-week training course followed by on-the-job training with employment partners MicroSourcing, Integreon Managed Solutions Inc., Affinity Express, and Migo Entertainment Inc.
