MicroSourcing 2014 Valentine's Day Fundraising Event

MicroSourcing Celebrates a Valentine’s A-fairEmployees took part in the Valentine’s A-fair held simultaneously in different sites on the second week of February. Contests and fund-raising activities for the benefit of Kanlungan ni Maria, a non-profit residential institution for the elderly, were held during the three-day event.

A total of P32,440 was raised by employees from MicroSourcing’s Manila sites: 1880, MDC, Picadilly, and MOA. The proceeds will be turned over to the nursing home on March 16.

These were the activities at the Valentine’s A-fair:

Roses Anonymous
The office was filled with roses sent by employees to their teammates and friends from other sites.

Guess How Much I Kiss You
Employees will guess the number of Hershey’s Kisses placed in a vase. For the 1880 site, ICT Operations Manager Michael Aguila and Operations Supervisor Bernice Buenafe got the right answer which was 594 chocolates.

Photography enthusiasts shared what love means for them in pictures. For the 1880 site, Dave Mendoza from EV won and got an iPad Mini as the prize.

Half of My Heart
The HR department hid famous local and international icons written in heart-shaped cut-outs. Employees had fun looking for the other half of their hearts. Chocolates were given to those who have found the right heart pairs.

Note to Remember
For only P50, employees hired the Dance & Music Club to serenade a special someone. This brought fun and excitement especially to the recipients who did not expect this sweet treat.

Magnum in Love
Employees paid P50 for a Magnum ice cream bar and a ticket to a movie shown at the office.

Status Capture
Employees had fun at the photo booth, wearing their "relationship status" such as white for single, pink for in a relationship, red for married, and blue for engaged.
