According to a report released by consultancy firm Information Services Group (ISG), the IT outsourcing market in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) region increased 15 percent this year, wherein the overall IT support industry is valued at an estimated 3.5 billion (£3 billion).
ISGs study also stated that the number of outsourcing deals this third quarter is the second highest of all time, with 2011s Q3 taking the top spot.
The segment identified to have had the most IT outsourcing activity and is responsible for 1.32 billion in outsourcing revenues is the financial services sector.
Other segments cited by the report are manufacturing which came in second with 970 million, travel, transport, and leisure (840 million), energy with 710 million, and business services posting 290 million.
The future of the IT is predicted to be positive as its stock rose continuously ever since the economies collapsed all over the world.
