MicroSourcing Celebrates Interns' Achievements on Recognition Day"Congratulations, graduating interns. Thank you for being some of the most hardworking and motivated employees MicroSourcing has ever seen," VP of PR and Marketing Nona Tajanlangit sets the tone of the first ever Careers Program Recognition Day with her opening remarks.

MicroSourcing employees - supervisors, managers, and clients - gathered together last June 6 in Eastwood, Quezon City to recognize the achievements of 15 interns who completed a six-month long Careers Program.

In Nona Tajanlangitís opening remarks, everyone looked back to how the interns grew from starting with little to no work experience to young BPO professionals. Joined by their honored guest - a supervisor or a mentor who was witness to their journey - the interns accepted certificates in recognition of their achievement and a gift pack from MicroSourcing. The interns thanked MicroSourcing for the opportunity to gain employment and their supervisors, clients, and trainers for the guidance and the support. "It is my dream to get employed. Now I work as a Data Analyst for a MicroSourcing client," Janet Ofilan, a previous intern who transitioned to being a full-time employee, proudly shared in her speech.

"I want to congratulate all of you for having finished the entire program. I know you had to work extremely hard to adapt to a completely new and unknown working environment. You had to combine working and studying, and for some, the care of children. In my eyes, you are all heroes." The program concluded with a message from Wim Kooijman, the interns' English teacher for five months. "The fifteen of you are the greatest group of people I have ever met in my life. Each of you contributed to an atmosphere of peace, happiness, joy." Wim's sentiments were shared by all other employees who had worked with the interns.

The Careers Program is a six-month internship course coupled with formal training classes that grooms high school graduates into productive employees. The interns developed English and computer skills and gained proficiency in outsourcing processes. At the end of the program, MicroSourcing's clients attest that the interns deliver output at the same quality as regular employees. Ten interns are now employed as data analysts, office assistants, and customer service representatives in MicroSourcing.
