Last May 11 at the RFM Gym, MicroSourcing employees from all Manila sites got together to take part in the Micro Olympics, the company's multi-sport event that includes basketball, volleyball, and traditional Pinoy games.
SVP of Services Sophie Woo officially opened the event, expressing her gratitude to everyone who attended the ceremony. Meanwhile, VP of Business Development Rafael Verheij led the oath of sportsmanship.
The traditional Pinoy games were held on Day 1. Five teams battled it out in three games: patintero, tumbang preso, and Chinese garter. Team MOA was named the overall winner for the Pinoy games, followed by Team MDC, and Team 1880.
Micro Olympics also held its first ever cheering competition. Team BGC won first place, followed by Team MDC while Team 1880 got the third place. On the other hand, the Best Muse award was given to Rona Almelor from Team 1880.
Five teams. Three sporting events. One overall winner. Micro Olympics will run for about a month for both basketball and volleyball.
