According to Mark Lewis, an outsourcing executive at Berwin Leighton Paisner, a law firm, organizations will be busy working on data. He also predicted that financial institutions will outsource IT more using public cloud, but the deals will definitely be smaller or in shorter terms.
Furthermore, he said IT outsourcing deals will be overhauled, which in turn, will make it harder for some providers to outshine the competition. The ones who are innovative and can offer smart solutions will be successful.
Meanwhile, Lewis mentioned that hostile nations and state-sponsored terrorists will launch cyber-attacks on the UK government, and one or two will be successful in doing so, causing major damage even if online security is improved.
It was also predicted that the number of cloud-based outsourcing deals will increase rapidly over the following months.
