MicroSourcing University (MSU), the company's virtual learning environment, was re-launched last April 16-20 across all delivery centers to generate more awareness and utilization as well as to promote the site's new user interface and functions.
MSU offers a wide range of modules designed to educate employees about a specific topic needed in their work and/or further hone their skills. There are compulsory courses (MicroStatus Handbook, New Employee Orientation, Information Security Awareness Training Series, etc.), training programs for those who are holding supervisory positions (Sales Training, Core Competency Development, etc.), and free-for-all courses (Skill Refreshers, Sales, Customer Service, etc.).
Prior to the official re-launch, the Training and Development Team headed by Training Supervisor Karla Endaya invited all supervisors and team leaders to undergo an MSU Orientation Session which provided participants a walk-thru of MSU’s new look and functions. It also showed the steps on how to assign courses and modules to employees. The session also became an avenue for participants to discuss how to utilize MSU for employee coaching and development.
A raffle was also held for all employees who took part in the re-launch. It coincided with the company’s Free Food Friday which is done once a month.
