Employees and kids got together last October 29 for the trick-or-treat and other activities to celebrate Halloween.
In line with the theme “Famous People throughout History”, many employees changed into costumes to portray personalities such as Neil Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Cleopatra, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Dalai Lama, Olivia Newton-John, Frida Kahlo, and Adolf Hitler. There was also Jesus Christ and a couple of centurions. The employees’ kids, nephews, and nieces also dressed up for the occasion and walked around the office for the trick-or-treat. Their bags and baskets were soon filled with candies and chocolates from different departments and projects.
The event also included a Best in Costume contest to recognize the employees and kids who gave the best portrayal of famous people. For the male category, IT department’s Chris Torio got the award as he effectively imitated Neil Armstrong. On the other hand, Business Development department’s Pearl Sy, who dressed up as Madonna, won the award for the female category. When it comes to the kids category, John Joseph Cruz (nephew of Precy Cruz - EV) and Anneghelica Marie Chua (daughter of Angel Lynn Chua - MMP) won the awards.
