Recent study revealed that India is the preferred outsourcing destination of two-thirds of UK companies, while the rest will outsource call center jobs, IT, and finance work to China. This is based on the Labour Market Outlook research conducted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and accounting firm KPMG.
According to the study, the decline in qualities of graduates in the UK pushes companies to outsource work offshore. Forty-two percent of British employers said the level of literacy skills went down over the last five years. When it comes to the level of communication and interpersonal skills, 34 percent of respondents said it declined; only 19 percent said it had improved.
