In an effort to educate underprivileged youth and enable them to find jobs and contribute to the economy, Accenture will work together with Dr Reddy’s Foundation (DRF) and the Nasscom Foundation (NF) to provide training in business process outsourcing (BPO).

For this program, Accenture and DRF will train the facilitators who are selected by Nasscom. After the course, graduates can be hired to work for Accenture.

“Bringing BPO training to disadvantaged youth is part of Accenture’s commitment to building skills that will help them sustain their families and their communities,” said Harsh Maglik, chairman and geography managing director, Accenture in India. “This effort is aimed at making a significant, lasting impact on the economic well-being of individuals who might otherwise become marginalized.” Similarly, Jitendra Kalra, CEO Dr Reddy’s Foundation, is confident that this initiative of providing BPO training will make a big impact on the lives of underprivileged youth.
