Cloud Computing Tops List of IDC 2010 Tech Predictions

Cloud computing got the top spot in the list of 2010 Technology Predictions of IDC, a global market intelligence firm.
"[Cloud computing] will move from an amorphous buzzword to a more tactile reality as service providers come to grips with the challenges of providing public cloud and organizations realize the flexibility that implementing a cloud infrastructure internally can provide," said Simon Piff, Head of Asia/Pacific Predictions Committee for 2010. He added that transformation and recovery are two major factors that will affect the top technology predictions for next year.
