Most of our clients start off with a fairly small-sized team. In this way, they can do a low cost, low risk test case which will build up the confidence needed to make a larger scale offshore commitment. In fact, many of our clients start out with a single fulltime employee but soon after, this team will expand rapidly once the benefits of outsourcing with MicroSourcing become apparent.

Expanding your team is very simple. As explained in Step 4 , our standard agreement is divided into a master agreement, which governs our general outsourcing services, and project outlines which describe the personnel, additional resources and compensation scheme details for your offshore team. For additional resources, we will follow a shortened procedure of what has been described in the previous sections:

  • We will discuss your additional requirements with you and translate them into job profiles as described in Step 1 and Step 3 .
  • As in Step 3, our HR team will assist in recruiting candidates and selecting employees. At this stage, your existing offshore team can of course get involved and see how the candidates would fit into your existing team.
  • For our agreement, we will only have to draft and sign a project outline document which gives the details of the personnel and other resources involved and the agreed compensation scheme.

Expansions can be requested at any time and we will do what we can to make the process as quick and effective as possible. From our experience, additional team members can be found within a few days.

As explained in the Build-Operate-Transfer section, a time may come when your offshore operation at MicroSourcing becomes such an essential part of your business that you want to take it over completely. In this case, an eighth phase may be added in which your offshore team is transferred to your own Filipino corporation.
