The exact screening and selection process really depends on your preferences. We could either handle it all internally, or you could be fully involved and personally interview and screen every candidate. You are also free to add your own screening processes. Our manpower acquisition department is one of the most important groups in our company.
As outsourcing is a manpower business, we need to be able to generate highly qualified candidates in the shortest possible period of time. To help us keep track of our candidates, we have a sophisticated online system, MicroResumes, that is capable of storing profiles and guiding the entire screening and selection process.
Our general purpose is to present you with a variety of candidates that differ in qualifications and salary expectations. In that way, you can form a good idea of what is available at which price. When making a recommendation, we will typically send you the candidate’s resume and a brief summary of our findings and opinions. You can then select whom you would like to screen further. You are free to request for any of the following:
- Interview - an interview between you and a candidate can be conducted through phone, skype, webcam, or conference call. The format of this interview is completely up to you and people of an officer of our recruitment team will be there to setup and host the interview. Some clients even opt to travel to the Philippines so they personally meet and interview the candidates.
- Test - as part of the screening process, you could ask candidates to take a certain skill test. MicroResumes already contains a number of standardized skill tests and we can easily add your skill test. Alternatively, you could request testing through BrainBench and other 3rd party providers.
- Sample Work - You could ask candidates to send in sample work or their portfolios. This is often done for creative positions.
In general, we will accommodate any screening step you want to add to the process. After all, we want to make 100% sure you have all the information you need to come to the right decision. It is in our own interest to make sure that you have the very best person for each of your profiles so that there is a higher chance of overall project success.
