The Human Capital Strategy and Delivery Group (HCSDG) launched MicroSourcing University (MSU) last January 7.
MSU is the official learning portal of MicroSourcing, containing relevant and useful content designed to further improve the skills and competencies of employees. “It is the venue for employees to take a variety of training and developmental courses in modularized form while at work,” HCSDG said.
MSU’s courses are categorized into the following:
- Compulsory - courses and module sets which are necessary for all employees; including Human Capital practices and MicroStatus walkthroughs and simulations
- Free-for-All - involves a wide range of topics that can help introduce or refresh various job function competencies such as communication and organizational skills
- Development - module sets designed for career progression, development, and acquisition of management skills; includes the General Orientation for Leadership Development (GOLD)
- Client-specific - courses developed for specific client functions, tasks, systems, and procedures
The launch of MSU coincided with the Free Food Friday, a company-wide event held every first Friday of the month.
