MicroSourcing Set to Open New Office in Eastwood City

MicroSourcing Set to Open New Office in Eastwood CityIn a few days, it is expected that MicroSourcing will occupy the new and bigger office located at the 6th floor of 1880 Avenue building in Eastwood City.

At 2700sqm, the new office has a capacity of about 500 project workstations and 50 management seats. This is 30 percent larger than the office at eCommerce Plaza building. According to CEO Philip Kooijman, the company aims to use the remaining 900sqm by the end of this year as the company further expands. When it happens, MicroSourcing will occupy the entire 6th floor.

The work floor is now divided with partition walls to provide more privacy to the different projects. It features five conference rooms and a training room that can accommodate 18 people.

The new office also has areas for recreation with TV and video games, as well as a much bigger MS Café with a seating capacity of about 100. New facilities include a recruitment hub, locker rooms, a clinic, and storage rooms.

Paulo Cabantog Wins Summer Survivor Photo ContestSenior Software Developer Paulo Cabantog from Web Guide Partner (MicroSourcing Managed Projects) won the Summer Survivor Photo Contest facilitated by HCSDG during the company outing last May 22 at Aguas Azules in Binangonan, Rizal. Mr. Cabantog will receive Php 2000 for his winning photo entry.

Project Manager Christian Malubag (EV), Graphic Designer Stephen Peña (CSG), and Flash Designer Elvis Garcia (CSG) judged the photo entries based on the following criteria: innovation, originality, and creativity, relevance to the theme, and image quality and robustness. 

According to Employee Relations Officer Mia Espinosa, the photo contest was held to give MicroSourcing employees an avenue to share their talent in photography and their own interpretation of the Summer Survivor experience.
