To reach more job applicants and increase brand awareness, the Human Resources team of MicroSourcing participated in a series of job fairs held at different malls around Metro Manila.
The HR team first took part in the “Urban Job Fair: Employment Opportunities in Pasig City” at SM Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City last April 17-18. They also participated in the 4th Trabaho sa Turismo Fair '09 last May 22-23 at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Manila. This was spearheaded by the Department of Tourism in cooperation with JobsDB.com. Lastly, the team took part in the job fair held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City last July 1 and 2.
According to Mr. Dean Carlo Rivera, Employee Relations Officer, participating in job fairs is a great opportunity for the company not only to reach a larger number of applicants but also to increase awareness about what MicroSourcing is and the services it offers.
Ms. Rita Erika Enciso, Recruitment Specialist, said that in the job fairs they took part in, it is harder to find qualified applicants for the IT-related jobs that MicroSourcing offers since most people sought employment in call centers. In any case, Ms. Enciso said that the company will continue to participate in job fairs primarily to establish the company brand and increase awareness.
