Technical Writer/QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Provide status reports; keep team informed of issues and the status of work planned and completed.
• Write documentation from scratch (for new and running projects)
• Contribute to the tracking and resolution of bugs.
• Develop and software test plans.
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of test results.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
• Work closely with development and support teams to analyze test results and recommend corrective action and ensure total product quality.

Requirements

Requirements:

At least 1 year experience testing web based applications and creation of documentation

Successful candidate must have strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills, and well as some programming knowledge

Solid understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and development cycles

Familiar with a variety of testing practices and procedures and understands common software failures and faults for effective diagnosis and debugging

Must be familiar with creating documentation from scratch and utilize excellent communication skills to work with a team of developers, designers and writers

Experience in the testing of payroll, attendance, and scheduling systems a distinct advantage

Excellent English writing skills
