Search Engine Optimization Manager (Mall of Asia)
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the E-Commerce manager to develop both short and long term SEO strategies
- Liaising with the SEO and SEM team, ensure PPC and organic strategies are closely aligned and day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion and margins
- Ensure that the proper reporting and analysis tools are in place for effective analysis of short and long term SEO and SEM campaigns
- Ability to meet and exceed targets and KPIs - both individually and collectively as head of the SEO and SEM teams
- Conduct large scale, in-depth keyword research for over 10,000 organic search terms
- Conduct large-scale, extensive on-site optimisation analysis of site to improve SEO results
- Develop large-scale link building strategy to ensure diverse and high value back-links target the site as per overall SEO strategy
- Report weekly on organic ranking results and suggest strategies to improve rankings
- Analyse on-site and industry organic search patterns and make changes to site and objectives as necessary
- Perform extensive competitor analysis on a regular basis and apply techniques to our own site
- Oversee the development of well-written and SEO-optimised web content for use on site, external blogs and other associated sites
- Report daily to the E-commerce manager with progress of SEO and SEM team's objectives and responsibilities
- Research trends and developments in the industry to apply them to our own SEO and SEM strategies
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in e-commerce, marketing, web design, web development, I.T or other related field
- 4+ years of SEO and SEM experience - developing long term strategies, managing budgets and providing ROI reports
- Expert knowledge of white-hat and grey SEO best practices
- A complete understanding of search engine trends and search engine algorithms
- Experience with SEO applications, tools, and web analytics packages
- Ability to apply best practice SEO knowledge to SEO campaigns and instruct and teach staff as necessary
- Ability to conduct large-scale keyword research, link building and on-site optimisation strategies
- Excellent knowledge of ecommerce marketing
- Strong knowledge of site architecture and website usability
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate internally via phone or email - you'll be reporting to the E-Commerce manager on a daily basis
- Experience managing SEO staff and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to meet and exceed KPIs and desired outcomes
- Must be willing to work at the Mall of Asia complex, Pasay City
