Responsibilities
He or she will be responsible for the following:
- Perform first-level IT support-related activities on issues regarding the use of computer hardware and software, telephony and network devices for Microsourcing and its clients
- Perform timely escalation of pending support-related issues to various Microsourcing departments for further analysis and resolution
- Performs other duties within areas of expertise as requested
Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor Degree on Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering-related courses with formal trainings (Cisco Cert, MCSA, etc)
- At least 1-3 years of solid work experience on a Helpdesk or Technical Support capacity
- Highly knowledgeable with MS Systems Administration particularly with Windows Server 2003 / 2008 Directory Services
- With experience in using MS Servers, Database systems, Office systems, Call management, VoIP applications/systems
- Proficiency in CISCO IOS and CISCO Switches troubleshooting
- Linux/UNIX and ITIL is a plus
- Troubleshooting skills on computer hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network and communication devices (WAN/LAN/Server/Desktop Support)
- Excellent understanding of the English language (oral and written)
