English Web Editor
Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled Web Editor for a team focused on a massively multiplayer online game and both company and customer websites.
The ideal candidate has experience in maintaining various websites and providing support to various Web Content Editors.
Responsibilities:
• Translation, integration, publishing, and maintenance of web content on the English version websites.
• Manage projects relating to web events, contests, and editorial tasks.
• Supervise, monitor and apply all appropriate updates and content synchronization with other language versions.
• Create and manage specific local editorial content for the websites.
• English copywriting for web support (marketing materials, newsletters, etc.).
• Participate actively in improving the websites with our web designers.
Requirements
• Proven previous experience in web mastering
• Excellent English language skills
• Strong proofreading skills
• Excellent web copywriting skills, imagination and creativity are required
• Previous work experience in translation, editing, marketing, or sales
• Basic knowledge of HTML editing tools (such as Dreamweaver), Microsoft applications (Word, Excel), and an understanding of the Web technology environment
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong self-motivation and a high level of commitment
• Passion for MMO’s
Pluses
• Basic knowledge of code-tuning (XML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
• User knowledge of Drupal CMS
• Previous experience with Subversion (SVN)
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
