Business Research Analyst/Writer

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced writer, ideally familiar with writing market studies or company analyses. The person needs to be able to work independently and be good at Excel and synthesizing crisp output from many different sources.

• Fast paced monitoring of news and picking out news for editing and publishing.
• Editing and analysis of news stories.
• Data analysis and fact checking.
• Monitoring of different research and news production processes on occasion (for example: quality control of work done by other external providers).
• Assist with market research as needed.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a College Degree in Journalism, Communications, Finance, Marketing, Accountancy or equivalent.
• Able to cope with a fast-paced environment and line of work and can deliver within a quick turnaround time.
• Smart, energetic, self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic to get work done.
• Experience in Research and Writing.
• Background in Data or Market Research, Business Analysis and some Research Project Management within finance/banking, consulting firm or other niche industry is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills particularly in writing and some editing.
• Internet savvy and quick to learn online tools.
