MicroSourcing Creative Services (MCS)

In the previous section, we had a look at our outsourcing services and we explained how our standard staff leasing solution is the most cost-effective way of setting up an offshore operation. If you are not looking for a long-term operation and your project is small in scope and involves creative work then using our Creative Services department would be the ideal solution.

What is MicroSourcing Creative Services?

MicroSourcing Creative Services is a relatively new department of MicroSourcing. It was founded primarily to answer to our existing client's requests for creative designs. Existing clients would for instance have the need for a website re-design or a print creative and they would naturally not want to hire a fulltime designer through our normal staff leasing solutions. To enable us to service these types of requests, we started a department consisting of fulltime internal design staff. This internal talent pool works together with our huge network of freelance design workers to execute a wide variety of design projects.

How does it work?

Quite simple: if you have a creative project that you cannot handle inhouse then you could outsource the project to MCS. In most cases, the process would be:

• Requirements Analysis
  You will let us know about your project and provide us with as many details and design guidelines as you possibly can. The more accurate your project description, the easier it will be for us to accurately assess the required manpower and skill-sets and provide you with designs that meet your requirements.
• Quotation
  We will provide you with a quote based on your project description. Our quotation will include details on the staffing, a delivery deadline and our rules and regulations concerning design studies and re-designs.
• Design Rounds
  In most cases, we will define a fixed number of design rounds in which MCS will provide you with mock-up designs and ask you to provide us with feedback. Through a number of these design rounds, we will come to the final design.
• Delivery & Payment
  Depending on the scope and nature of the project, we might ask you for a deposit payment or we will simply charge you after we hand over the deliverables.

As explained in our section on outsourcing in the Philippines, the Filipinos are highly creative people and there are thousands of highly qualified design workers. We have some of the best designers working for MCS and they all have a great Western and modern sense of design. We can take on projects like:

  Our web designers can create website mockups which our HTML/CSS coders will convert into website templates after you have given the final GO signal.
• Flash Designs & Animations
  Flash movies are often an integral part of a website design. Our Flash artists can create Flash site templates, Flash games and audio-visual presentations.
• Corporate Identities
  Our graphic designers have an excellent professional design sense and can create logos and corporate identities that capture the essence of your business.
• Print Designs
  Many of our designers come from a print design background and can create any type of print design you may need.
• Creative Writing
  Filipinos have a passion for writing and can create articles of the same quality as native English speakers.
