"I joined MicroSourcing five years ago with a dream of becoming a creative writer, not realizing that I am up to something bigger. As part of the pioneer team, I was able to grow with the company. Having started as a small web development company and growing into a 500-FTE outsourcing company is definitely one big leap and one great achievement. It is also a great learning experience. Things were very challenging at the beginning, considering that I did not really have much background in business management or operations management.
The past five years with MicroSourcing are definitely the best years of my life, perhaps that is why I am staying and seriously leaving the company never really crossed my mind. I love the friendly atmosphere, the office, and the non-hierarchical management structure. I like the idea that people here are treated equally and that they can freely express their views and ideas to the management without the fear of being terminated or it being taken against them.
The MicroSourcing office is almost like my second home. Five years ago, it felt like I am still in college, working on a very important project. I feel relaxed but at the same time, I want to work hard and complete the project. It still feels the same now. My responsibilities may be bigger now but Philip and the other members of the management team are very supportive. They taught me a lot of the things that I know now."
